Six years later, he put his exceptional roofing skills to good use and established Desert Sun Roofing & Reflective Coating LLC. Now, nearly two decades later, Desert Sun has become one of the most trusted, longest running, family-owned specialty roofing companies in Tucson. **Five stars, without hesitation.** We called Desert Sun after realizing we had completely neglected the maintenance on our flat roof for over 10 years. We got four quotes, and Jeremiah was the only one who didn't try to take advantage of the situation. The other three told us that years of neglect had caused damage requiring additional work, which would cost more. Jeremiah did none of that. He educated us on the importance of flat roof maintenance, told us the roof was actually in good shape given how long it had gone without care, and got us on the schedule. On top of that, his bid came in lower than all the others. His team arrived on time, everything went exactly as he said it would, and the work was great. About two years later, I called him about a leak. The roof was under warranty, so he was my first call. I was genuinely amazed by how quickly he responded. As soon as it was dry and safe to be on the roof, Jeremiah was there. He discovered that a contractor who had done other work on our home had cut through the coating and never said a word. We also had damage from when our plumbing was snaked through the roof vent, and a small section of roofing added during an addition had been done very poorly. None of this was warranty-related, and Jeremiah encouraged us to seek accountability from the parties responsible. I knew that any repair offered by those contractors would not come close to the quality of Desert Sun's work, so we requested a quote from Jeremiah for the two major issues and planned to have my husband handle the vent pipe himself. To our surprise and delight, the quote came back with the vent repair included at no charge. Before the next rain, Jeremiah and his team were at our house completing everything. They are always on time, the work is excellent, and the pricing is more than fair. I cannot recommend anyone else. I genuinely do not believe you will find this level of quality or integrity anywhere else.

If an unlicensed worker delivers defective work, walks away with your deposit, or damages your property, you forfeit all access to state-sponsored legal protection. Furthermore, you assume total liability for any physical injuries that occur on your roof, and your homeowner’s insurance provider can legally deny future water damage claims if they discover the work was done by an unverified entity.
